Lunar Eclipse – Red Moon

 on

This photograph of fully eclipsed moon was taken at Terrigal. I’ve used my 70-200 Sigma lens with Kenko MC7 2x converter thus the actual focal length was 400mm. The moon was very dim and the focusing was very difficult both for manual and auto focus modes.

  • Nice photo. But if you are using a dslr you also have the nark up due to not having a full frame sensor (I dont know the mathematics etc) My 350d has a mark up of 1.6 so using a similar set up I get 35mm equivilent of 640mm lense.
