Melbourne to Murwillumbah for the McGrath Foundation

It is no big secret that I like vintage cars thus this 1929 Le Mans Speed Six vintage Bentley drew my attention immediately. This is a rare vehicle – according to the owner one of 109 ever produced.

I thought it was quite amusing to see satellite navigation installed in a vintage car.

So, what do you think about a man, who drives a vintage car and dresses in a pink overalls?
You think him a great man and generous Australian. Meet Sid Reinhardt.

On September 8th Syd and Nicki have left Melbourne to drive their 79 year old, 1929 Le Mans Speed Six vintage Bentley on a 4000km, two week road trip from Melbourne to Murwillumbah for the McGrath Foundation.

They are visiting as many country towns in Victoria and NSW. They are stopping along the way to talk to people about breast cancer and the importance of breast health awareness and to raise some funds to support the foundation.

What a sight: grandpa and grandma dressed in pink racing overalls; the racing helmet, the goggles, the roar of a racing Le Mans Bentley . Make sure to talk to them as these are extraordinary Aussies and donate some money as this is going to a very worthwhile cause.
