This mesmerising photograph of Peacock grouper (Cephalopholis argus) is yet another prised photograph from my diving trip the Great Barrier Reef. This Peacock grouper was about 50cm in length and it was hiding under a coral overhang.
It is taking a long time to process the photographs, as each requires very tedious process of recovering the right colours. While diving, the colours get increasingly affected with increasing depth. Even the best white balance on best cameras fails here and it needs to be recovered manually in post processing. I am processing my photographs with Photoshop Lightroom, which makes this task easier than Adobe Photoshop alone.
