Recently, while on short holidays in Gold Coast, Queensland I had some time to myself. I have opted to visit Tamborine Mountain. The weather was horrible and that would be a kind description. Torrential rain almost nonstop with short bursts of sunlight. Luckily, once I have reached the Tamborine Mountain the weather held nicely for about 4 hours.
I was searching for some inspiring landscapes amongst the dense vegetation of this sub-tropical rainforest. The mountain did not disappoint, however the conditions prevented me from reaching many planned places. Over next few days I will present some of the photographs I have taken there.
Today, I want to show a different photograph I took on the day. I was on my way back to the car when I have spotted a shadow of palm leaf pattern on the foot path. Usually the dense undergrowth prevents such shadows but this place represented a small clearing. The sun at the time was so strong that the shadow even included gentle hints of the green as the sun rays pierced through the leaves.
