Beggar falls asleep on the job

Today, yet again was a very nice day with temperatures reaching mid 20s in Sydney. As i was walking along the George Street I have noticed a well known beggar who occupies the corner of Market Street fast asleep on the job.

Through the years I have seen his sign changing the excuse for begging from ill health, through family issues, court proceedings to simple “please help”. Now, one can understand sitting all day in one spot and asking for money is a exhausting task. No wonder the poor man has fallen asleep like that.
