The mint museum
The mint museum Built between 1811 and 1816 as the southern end of the Sydney Hospital it became a mint in 1854 when gold was discovered in New South Wales. It was the first Royal Mint outside of England. It operated as mint until 1926.

Today it is an interesting museum and the building itself is part of Historic Trust.
