Araucaria trees at Terrigal

I have visited Terrigal this morning for a commercial appointment. While I was waiting for my client I took few casual photographs. Here is one of them: simple shot of Araucaria trees. These trees always fascinate me by their shapes, textures and colours. I think I often would associate Australian city beaches with Araucaria trees rather then sand.

Araucarias and lights

We went for an evening walk along the channel joining the ocean and the Wallis lake. I have noticed clearly visible light patterns over some araucarias on the Tuncurry side. This has been in considerable distance, never the less I decided to take the photo and I’m pretty happy with the result. The lights crossing each other are clearly visible against the silhouettes of the trees.
