As we were driving from Christchurch to Queenstown, I needed a short break and a coffee. Somewhere before Fairlie we came across a nice restaurant, with beautiful views. I pulled into the car park and was shocked. Mine, was the only modern car. The reminder of the car park was filled in with vintage Rolls Royce and Bentley automobiles. It was a feast for a motor enthusiast. Sadly, it also meant no coffee for us. The Rolls Royce and Bentley club of New Zealand had the place booked and we were advised we would need to wait 45minutes for coffee – way too long.

I really regretted that the cars were so tightly parked as it left no possibilities for photos with couple of exception. Here is the world famous Rolls Royce flying lady emblem with Mount Dobson in the bokeh.
