Street lamps in golden light

I walked through Darling Harbour today on my way to the train station. The nice golden light of late afternoon was about to disappear behind the tall buildings. The street lights, now in the shadow, due to their uneven glass were deforming the view behind them. In this case windows of a hotel building.

Learning to pose

Anyone who follows my blog will by now know my new model – our new Golden Retriever puppy called Buttercup. At 10 weeks her modelling career is taking off with a big bark. However, this model is very level headed and realises not everyone makes it in the highly competitive modelling industry and thus she is not neglecting to learn skill which she may fall back to if Ford model agency does not sign her up soon.

PS. This is my first shot with my new Canon EF-S 10-22 F/3.5-4.5 ultra wide lens.
