Story behind the photograph
Our cat is a regular moggie. Meows a lot, cares only for its food and a good place to sleep – preferably my arm chair (no sharing involved). As any cat it will hunt a mouse or a rat from time to time and I guess we are grateful for that service as living close to the bush we do get bush rats and they are a real pest and difficult to get rid off.
However, at the moment it is not a popular pet in our household as she has killed a beautiful sugar glider during the night. I think I’ve managed to capture the cat’s killer instinct in this photograph.
