Light show

Couple of weeks ago I visited Melbourne for four days. Unfortunately I did not have a lot of spare time for photography, never the less I managed to capture few interesting shots. One of them was taken in total darkness, where a thin layer of laser like light was cutting through fog machine generated “atmosphere”. I did not have a tripod with me and I did not hold much hope for the photograph. I was very pleasantly surprised when I loaded this image into Lightroom.

The sky like view created by the light was uncanny. Almost as if the space has wrapped itself around my lens. And a single ray of light piercing the dark, unlit portion of the space added to the depth illusion of this photograph.
