Colours, textures and patterns of sandstone formations at Pearl Beach

 on

Today was a beautiful, sunny Sunday. I took my kids to our favourite beach. We go there not for fabulous waves of vast expanses of pristine sand but to explore. For me it is the endless variety of snadstone formations than span across Australian coastline. The rich array of textures and colours one can discover in the sandstone is simply stunning.

I’d like to invite you to see the “Rock Face” gallery.

Shark’s egg

 on

My son, Sebastian, has found shark’s egg. They are very oddly shaped, looking like a very big twisted macaroni. This photograph has been taken at Pearl Beach late at night using Tokina 12-24 f/4 lens and Canon 580EX Speedlite.
