Queenstown, New Zealand

Our trip from Christchurch to Queenstown was very long and exhausting. Even without stops this is over 6 hours of driving. Adding few stops for rest and photographic opportunities, which are plentiful the trip became 10 hour long. We arrived late at night and all we could do is fall asleep.

Waking up was a very rewarding experience. Our accommodation is right on the lake with direct views of Remarkables mountain range. Queenstown is one of the most picturesque towns in the world, especially in the morning sun.

The thermometer was showing -5C, so we rugged up a bit and went of to the snow.
